Walter Roy Smith is a former Major League Baseball player that has been a licensed insurance agent since 2012. He was born in St Petersburg, Fl and graduated from Dixie Hollins High School when he was drafted and signed by the Seattle Mariners in 1994. 

After a few years in the minor leagues he made his Major League debut in 2001 vs the New York Yankees. He retired in 2005 and became a baseball agent where he represented over 25 professional baseball players, five Major League baseball players and two 1st round draft picks.

He began his insurance career in 2012 with AmeriLife in Clearwater, FL where he served as branch leader until deciding on an independent career in 2015 when he founded Atlas Benefits. 

He moved Atlas Benefits to New Port Richey in 2018 where he lives with his wife Amber and their dog Yukon Cornelius.
